First I want to wish all my foreign blogreaders a happy chanoeka. Since I'm a big fan of turkey meat, and we europeans are having a chickenflu crisis, be aware that I might be on your doorstep soon for some of that delicious turkey. Me celebrating (well not really), but posting items about halloween and thanksgiving shows that we in Holland definately miss alot of festivities (thus free days) hehe. Tho we have our own festivities in Holland they tend to be
And then there's xmas off course, but what you guys might not know is that the world actually has stolen Santa-Clause from us dutchies. *Cough* I mean "the dutchies". As Santa Clause comes from our Sinterklaas. Even tho I prefer your xmas above ours.

I love the carnival picture..
poor kid, it has been damaged for life.. it's gonna grow up and become a psycho and every time he sees a duck, he will feel the urge to go out on a killing spree...

In Holland, they call Saint Nick Sinter Klaas or something like that, right? (Sorry about my more than limited Dutch. I am sure that by the time someone reads this comment and understands Dutch they will laugh at me. =P)

Yeah, but you guys have Queen's Day! That's one big almighty piss up! I was in Amsterdam for Queen's Day about six years ago and I swear I've never seen so much rubbish/garbage/trash (call it what you want) as I did at the end of that day! That's one huge party! In the UK, we certainly don't have anything that even comes close to that! The UK sucks by the way, just in case anyone was thinking of going there...
