Hmmmz vegetarians. A concept that is growing alot lately. More people stop eating meat and started eating vegetarian things. I've got nothing against em, but still, I think it's weird for us humans to be vegetarians. It's like lying against yourself and your grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand folks. I mean back in the days, when we where still wearing lion or bear skins and had a club in our hand, we bashed animals heads in, and roasted their meat on a big fire and enjoyed eating and tearing of their roasted flesh from their bones. Some of us still do ^^. But nowadays you hear more and more people become a veggie.

Has it something to do with your religion? And don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to flame any religions. I'm just curious why people stop eating meat? I love meat and fish for that matter.... In fact I love all food ^^, but I don't think i've ever eaten vegetarian things. And I don't intend to. That's just life, we are the superior species on this planet, we hunt, kill and eat animals, how harsh it may seem. other animals do the same. Look at lions for example. Should we turn them in vegetarians too? So anyone who's cooking for me tonight: I like my steak medium rare and tender with alot of juice. ^^

I guess balance is very much important. You should eat meat but only twice or thrice in a week. Not more than that.

i used to eat meat... almost for my every meal. but now, it's not that i don't wanna eat meat anymore, i just CAN NOT stuff them in my mouth anymore. i dunno why or how, i just can't stand the smell of meat anymore. only certain things w/ not too obvious smell that i can eat.

so it's not that i want to eat only veggies, but i just can't MOST of meat anymore... 'cuz i can't stay away f/ seafood! :D

@ raheel: Ah yes even forgot that I mean meat has alot of proteins and vitamins, dont we need that? Or do we replace those vitamins with the vitamin pills all?

@ka: Yeah babe I deffo want eat a fish dish made by you sometime ;) :P

then it's gonna be 1 very expensive seafood dish... :P ;)

I need meat! I can't live without it! I just feel so sluggish!!

lol ka. Sluggish?? whats that?

Now I'm going to have a big fat juicy steak in your honor!

Although I'm not a veggie, I do eat Veggie Burgers and stuff like that.

I don't get not eating meat. I would constantly feel like something was missing if I didn't get it in my diet.

Hmm, I was a veggie for two years when I lived in Spain. I decided to go veggie because I stopped enjoying eating meat. I don't know why.

But when I came to Japan I started eating meat again. And what a great decision it was! Now I cannot imagine ever going back to being a veggie!

@foxy: damn im jealous :P

@heather: hah well you are missing out on something deliccioussss :P

@heneganov: well you live in Japan country of the many fish dishes, its impossible to leave meat alone :P

i'm not a vegetarian i just don't like eating meat that much... it makes me sick :(

I stopped eating meat about 6 years ago, so I can give you my point of view. I haven't stopped liking the smell or taste of meat, and my religion doesn't promote vegetariaism, so it's not for that. It's just that, since I have the choice of eating meat or not it just feels like the more loving thing to do. I don't know how "bad" or how right it is to kill animals, but it seems to me, that, since I don't know, not killing seems like the better option. So that's why I don't do it. Even if it's a little thing, I don't think small expressions of love are unimportant.

wow nicely said matthew :)
