I think the reason why people are skeptical about Hollywood remakes is because they are always comparing it to the original version. Of course, with that mentality, they're always disappointed. That is why I admired the 'remake' of "Bewitched" because it confronted that issue by making the movie a "Yes, it's a remake, but not in the way that you think." If there were reasons for people to be disappointed in the new movie is because they either didn't get the movie or didn't get into "Bewitched". =)
